Guild

Creating one, joining one, the ranks that exist, alliances, hostility, guild war and the real state of Castle Siege on the server.

Updated on August 10, 2026

A guild is the game's permanent social structure: a name, an emblem, its own chat channel and the option to declare an alliance or a war on another group. Here it is quite functional at the basics and has known gaps above that, which this page lists without dancing around them.

  • 100level to create one
  • 6level to join one
  • 5guilds per alliance
  • 1hostile guild at a time

Creating a guild

Talk to a city's Guild Master NPC. The only requirement checked is level 100. If you already belong to a guild, the NPC refuses.

At creation you choose the name and draw the emblem, which is an 8 by 8 pixel bitmap with 16 colors. That is what shows up under the members' names. Whoever creates it automatically joins as Guild Master.

Joining a guild

  1. You need to be level 6 or higher and not be in another guild.
  2. The Guild Master of the guild you want has to be visible on the same map as you.
  3. Click on them and send the request. The master gets a window to accept or refuse.
  4. Once accepted, you join as a regular member.

You can only have one pending request at a time. To leave, use the same kick window: kicking yourself is how you leave the group.

Ranks

RankState on the server
Guild Masterwhoever created it; invites, kicks, declares alliances, hostility and war
Regular memberthe rank everyone else has
Battle Masterexists in the data model and cannot be assigned in game
Assistant Masterexists in the data model and cannot be assigned in game

How many members fit

There is a maximum guild size stat calculated as a tenth of your level, plus a tenth of your command in the Dark Lord's case. A level 400 master would give 40 slots, and a Dark Lord with high command would give a lot more.

Talking

@every member of your guild
@@every guild in your alliance
~your party

Alliance

An alliance brings up to five guilds together under the guild that created it, called the alliance's master guild. Only the Guild Master requests it, and the invited guild has to accept.

  • The invited guild cannot already be in another alliance.
  • If your guild is already in an alliance and is not the master of it, you cannot invite anyone.
  • Leaving is free for any member guild; removing another guild is the master guild's privilege.
  • Allies share the `@@` channel and are pulled into hostility along with you.

Hostility

Hostility is a declared rivalry between two guilds. Each guild can only have one hostile guild at a time, and the declaration is made by the Guild Master.

The effect is direct in PvP: killing a member of the rival guild carries no murderer penalty and does not trigger self defense on the other side. The rivalry spreads to every crossed pair of the two alliances, so declaring hostility against a guild allied with others puts you against the whole block.

Guild war

War is declared by chat command, not through the interface. There are two formats.

/war <guild name> regular war, on whatever map you are on
/battlesoccer <guild name> guild football, in the Arena
RuleRegular warGuild football

Point per kill11
Point for killing the enemy Guild Master22
Locationwherever the teams arethe Arena map, with two goals
  • Only the Guild Master declares it, and the enemy master has to be online to receive the challenge.
  • Neither guild can already be at war.
  • The team is the master's party, filtered down to members of that guild. Anyone not in the master's party does not take part in the war.
  • During a war you cannot duel or enter events.
  • Killing someone in the war does not make you a PK, and area skills do not hit allies in the same war.
  • The winning guild gets one point on its scoreboard, and the players go back to their starting point.

Castle Siege

As a consequence, there is also no Crown, no gates, no guardians, no castle NPCs, no castle tax and no advantage at all for a castle owning guild.

Other known gaps

  • The guild notice, that green text that shows up when you log in, exists in the database but cannot be written from the game.
  • The internal guild numbers are not permanent: they are assigned on every server restart. That affects nothing visible, but it explains variations in external tools.
  • Guild war only exists through a chat command; the client interface for it is not wired up.
