Castle Siege
The guild war over the Valley of Loren castle. On Zaikan the contest does not exist.
Updated on August 10, 2026Castle Siege is the event where guilds register, surround the Valley of Loren castle and fight over the crown, and the winning guild keeps control of the castle until the next season. On Zaikan this system does not exist.
What exists today
On the server
- The Valley of Loren map, visitable at any time.
- The crown, the two levers and the guards, as scenery.
- The NPCs Pamela, Angela, Sinior and Guardsman, standing idle.
- Guild, alliance and war between guilds, which do not depend on the castle.
Does not exist
- Guild registration and siege season.
- Castle owner and any benefit from owning it.
- Guild tax and castle shop.
- The walls, gates and the siege mechanic itself.
- The Valley of Loren map is live and can be visited normally.
- The crown and the two crown levers are in place, but they are decoration.
- Not one line of Castle Siege code exists on the server. It is not an event that is switched off, it is a system that was never written.
Practical consequence: nothing that depends on the castle works. There is no guild tax rate, there is no castle shop, there is no benefit for an owner guild and there is no Guild Master signing up.
What to do in the meantime
Guilds still exist and work: creating, inviting, hierarchy, alliance and war between guilds are separate from Castle Siege and are live. For a direct contest against other players with a reward, the event that works today is Chaos Castle.
