Keyboard shortcuts
Every key in the client on a single page, grouped by purpose, to look up or to print.
Updated on August 10, 2026This is the cheat sheet. Each table gathers the keys for one purpose, in the order you usually use them, and the right column says what happens and when the key does not work. If what you want is the explanation of how each thing works, that is in the keys and commands article; here the goal is to find the key in two seconds.
Two conditions explain almost every shortcut that looks broken. With the minimap open, the client only processes TAB and ignores the rest of the keyboard. And with the chat in focus, the letters turn into text: leave the chat before trying any shortcut.
Movement and mouse
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| Left click | Walks to the point, or attacks the target. There is no WASD in this game. |
| Right click | Fires the skill selected in the active slot. |
| SHIFT held | Attacks without leaving the spot: clicking the ground no longer moves the character. |
| CTRL held | Forces the attack on a player, even on someone who would not normally be a target. |
| ALT + right click | Opens the quick menu on the selected player, if they are nearby. |
| SPACE | Picks up the closest item on the ground. |
| ALT held | Shows the name of the items lying on the ground. |
| ALT, one tap | Pins the display of item names on the ground until you press it again. |
| Click on the minimap | Sends the character walking to the point and turns on the MU Helper on arrival. Works on the TAB map and on the disc in the interface. |

| C | Character panel | stats, gear score and rank |
| T | Quests | - |
| P | Party | - |
| G | Guild | - |
| F | Friend list | requires level 6 and does not open in Chaos Castle |
| A | Master Skill Tree | only from third class on. The key itself does not close the window |
| N | Enhance Skill Tree | the fourth class tree. The key itself does not close the window |
| M | Move window | travel between maps, charging zen |
| D | Command window | blocked in Chaos Castle and on a Gens map |
| U | Window menu | - |
| B | Gens ranking | - |
| Z | MU Helper settings | - |

| TAB | Game map | opens as a window, with zoom on the wheel and dragging by the title bar |
| F1 | Help | - |
| ESC | Closes the open window | with no window open, it opens the system menu |
With the inventory open there are four more keys: S opens the personal store, K opens the inventory extension, L turns on repair mode and H opens the vault extension. At the shop of an NPC that repairs, SHIFT + L repairs everything at once.
Combat and skills
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| 1 to 9 and 0 | Uses the skill in the slot. There are ten slots, with five visible at a time. |
| CTRL + 1 to 9 and 0 | Registers the skill in the slot. Requires the skill list open and the mouse over the icon. |
| SHIFT + 1 to 4 | Pet commands, when the pet in the field accepts commands. |
| HOME | Turns the MU Helper on and off. |
| Z | Opens the MU Helper settings, with the three tabs for hunting, gathering and adjustments. |
| F8 | Turns the health bar of the monsters on and off. |
Potions
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Q, W, E, R | Uses the item registered in the slot. |
| CTRL + Q, W, E or R | Registers the potion in the slot. Requires the inventory open and the mouse over the potion. |
The four slots are saved per character and come back on their own at the next login. If you press CTRL with the letter outside the inventory, the game neither drinks the potion nor registers anything: it writes on screen the step that is missing.
Map and camera
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| TAB | Opens and closes the game map. |
| Arrow keys | Move the minimap view while it is open. |

| F9 | Turns post processing on and off, and also cycles the camera mode. |
| F10 | Locks and unlocks the camera zoom. |
| F11 | Returns the camera to the default position. |
| PRINT SCREEN | Turns the screen capture on and off. |
