Devil Square
Twenty minutes in a closed arena, four waves of monsters and a scoreboard. Whoever kills the most takes the most.
Updated on August 10, 2026Devil Square is a closed arena where you do not go looking for monsters: the monster spawns on top of you, in waves that get heavier by the minute. It is 20 minutes, up to 10 players and a point scoreboard that decides who takes the biggest reward at the end.
- 7levels
- 20 minlength
- 4waves per match
- 4 hbetween openings
It opens every four hours: 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 20:00 on the UTC clock, which is 21:00, 01:00, 05:00, 09:00, 13:00 and 17:00 in Brasilia. The entrance stays open for 1 minute and the exit, at the end, for 3.
Which level you can enter
As in Blood Castle, Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord and Rage Fighter get in 20 levels earlier than the other classes. Devil Square 1 to 4 runs on map 9, and 5 to 7 on a bigger map, number 32.

The ticket
The ticket is the Devil's Invitation, and its `+N` needs to match the level you want to play. There is no zen fee, and party is allowed.
- 1Get Devil's Eye +N and Devil's Key +N
Both pieces at the same level. They drop from monsters and show up in trade between players.
- 2Combine at the Chaos Machine
Chaos Goblin in Noria, 180,103. Out comes the Devil's Invitation +N.
- 3Talk to Charon
The entrance NPC is in Noria, at 171,105.
The four waves
The waves overlap on purpose: the second starts before the first ends. That is why the middle of the match is always the worst part, with three waves active at the same time. The fourth is the boss wave, and it comes with a warning on screen.
- 0:00 to 7:00First wave
The weakest monsters of the level. This is where you set your position and pick your corner of the arena.
- 5:00 to 14:00Second wave
It arrives while the rest of the first is still there. The warning on screen says stronger enemies are coming.
- 12:00 to 20:00Third wave
It runs to the end of the match. From here on the arena never empties again.
- 15:00 to 20:00Bosses
Ten boss monsters come in during the final five minutes, with a warning on screen.
The species change by level. In Devil Square 7, for example, the first wave brings Gigantis and Berserk, the second brings Persona and Dreadfear, and the third brings Balram and Soram.
The score and the payout
Each monster killed is worth the number of the level in points: in Devil Square 3, three points per kill; in 7, seven. At the end of the match the server sorts the players by points and pays by position, from first to fourth.

The prize by position is small next to the experience the monsters themselves give when they die. Devil Square pays off through density: you do not walk, do not search and do not wait for a respawn for twenty minutes.
