Swamp of Calmness

The only classic map that asks for level 400 at the door, with four areas linked by teleport and the toughest monsters in Season 6.

Updated on August 10, 2026

The Swamp of Calmness is map 56, and it is the ceiling of classic Season 6. Its Move entry requires level 400, the game cap, and it is the only map on the list that does that. Twelve species live inside, from level 95 to 137, with the top three going past 200,000 health each.

  • 400level required on Move
  • 15,000zen per trip
  • 12species
  • 242,000Shadow Master health

How to get there

There is only one door: the Move window. There is no ground portal coming in from another map, and the swamp does not border anyone.

The layout: one center and four arms

The swamp is not one continuous piece of terrain. You land in the center, at (135,105), and four teleports run out of it, each one leading to an isolated area with its own way back. All eight internal portals ask for level 250.

Every return portal comes out in the center, at (135,105).

Who lives here

Twelve species in two clear blocks: nine monsters from level 95 to 107, which form the body of the map, and three from level 131 to 137, which are the real reason to come here after 400. The numbers are the server design values; during closed testing the monsters are temporarily weaker.

Ice Napin135230,0001,585 to 2,06073032
Shadow Master137242,0001,743 to 2,09270027

Notice the difference in scale. The first nine add up to 80 monsters across the whole map; the top three add up to 91. In other words: most of the swamp is precisely the heavy part, not the light one. That is the opposite of what happens in almost every classic map.

Health: the body of the map against the top
  • Sapi-Unus37.000 health
  • Shadow Knight52.000 health
  • Blaze Napin70.000 health
  • Sapi Queen218.000 health
  • Ice Napin230.000 health
  • Shadow Master242.000 health

The damage from the top three is what stands out: 1,441 to 2,092 per hit, with a huge spread between minimum and maximum. A Shadow Master can hit 1,743 one moment and 2,092 the next. A character with no defense and no damage shield does not survive three hits in a row.

What drops here

No exclusive drop. The global groups apply, and every monster in the swamp is past level 76, so jewel at 0.1% and excellent at 0.01% drop across the whole map. Zen on half the kills, random item on 30%.

  • Gold Medal at 0.2% comes only from the nine monsters of level 95 to 107. The top three are past 110 and give no medal.
  • Symbol of Kundun +6 (monster 92 to 107) comes from the body of the map, and the +7 (108 or more) comes from the top three.
  • Old Scroll +5 and +6 and Illusion Sorcerer Covenant +5 and +6 at 1% per range.
  • The excellent item that drops is rolled in the range of 25 levels below the monster that died, so the top of the swamp hands out high level equipment.

Is it worth it?

It is, and for a long time. The Swamp is one of the two best places to farm experience after 400 in classic content, alongside the Kanturu Relics. It has 30 regular spots and 3 hot spots on the minimap, and no NPC.

In favor
  • 91 monsters of level 131 to 137 on a single map, which no other classic map delivers.
  • Every monster drops jewel and excellent, and the excellent from here is high range.
  • The four arms let you pick your area and avoid competing with other players.
  • The best source of Symbol of Kundun +7 in the classic game.
Against
  • Requires a real level 400: not even 399 gets in.
  • 15,000 zen per trip, and there is no ground portal as an alternative.
  • No NPC on the map: no vault, no blacksmith, no potions.
  • The top three hit above 2,000. Without your defense sorted out, dying is quick.
