Equipment slots

The twelve spaces on the doll, what goes into each one and the archer law, which decides where bow, arrow and quiver sit.

Updated on August 10, 2026

The character has twelve equipment spaces, and they are the only places where an item starts to count for anything. A piece in the inventory gives no stat at all, even sitting in the space right next to the doll. This page lists the twelve and then covers the case that raises the most questions on the server: the archer.

Outside the doll there are three more equip spaces, the Muun ones, which sit in the lunar pet window and not in the normal inventory. They work like real equipment: a Muun item fitted there applies its bonuses to the character.

The archer law

In the original Season 6 the elf arrangement contradicted itself: the crossbow was right, with the weapon in the main hand and the bolt in the off hand, but the bow was inverted, with the weapon in the off hand and the arrow in the main hand. Two weapons of the same group, of the same class, in opposite arrangements. Practically every archer bug came from there, and each one looked like a different problem: bow painted red in the inventory, quiver held like a sword, a shot that would not fire.

Today there is one single rule, and it applies to the whole group:

Main hand
  • Every bow, from the Short Bow to the Air Lyn Bow
  • Every crossbow, from the Crossbow to the Great Reign Crossbow
  • All mastery bows, from the Bloodangel Bow to the Lightning Bow
Off hand
  • Arrows, the common arrow
  • Bolt, the crossbow ammunition
  • All mastery quivers
  • Drawn on the back, never in the hand

Two handed weapons and what they cost

A two handed weapon takes the main hand and blocks the shield. That is a build choice, not a detail: a Dark Knight with sword and shield trades damage for defense and block rate, and the same Dark Knight with a Dark Breaker gives all of that up. Spears are all two handed. Bows and crossbows take the main hand, but the off hand stays reserved for ammunition, so an archer does not use a shield while shooting either.

  • Magic Gladiator can carry two weapons at the same time in some arrangements, and it is the only class with no helm in any set.
  • Summoner uses a stick in the main hand and a book in the off hand. The book is her source of curse damage, not an accessory.
  • Rage Fighter uses a claw, which sits in the main hand and takes 1x2. His sets have no gloves, because the claw already covers the hand.
  • Dark Lord uses a scepter in the main hand and a shield in the off hand, and his raven takes the pet space.

The grid behind all of this

The base inventory has 64 spaces in eight columns. Each of the four extensions adds another 32, so a complete inventory reaches 192 usable spaces outside the equipment. The vault has 120 and the Chaos Machine temporary storage has 32.
