Kalima
The seven levels of Kundun's lair, how to put together the Lost Map for each one and what changes from one level to the next.
Updated on August 10, 2026Kalima is the same map repeated seven times, each time with the same eight monsters at a bigger scale. You do not get there by portal or through the Move window: the entrance is an item, the Lost Map, which you drop on the ground to open a temporary passage. The level of the Lost Map decides which of the seven Kalimas you land in.
Everybody's goal is the same: the boss at the end of each level, the Illusion of Kundun. He is the only thing that really changes from one level to the next, because his health jumps from 3,000 in Kalima 1 to 140,000 in Kalima 6.
- 7levels
- 5Symbol of Kundun per map
- 1 minportal duration
- 5people per portal
How to get in
The whole chain starts from an item that drops from any monster in the game: the Symbol of Kundun. It stacks up to five, and the moment the fifth piece joins the stack the item turns into a Lost Map by itself, in your inventory.
- 1Hunt 5 Symbol of Kundun
0.3% chance per kill, of the same level. All five need to be the same +N.
- 2Stack them
Drag one onto the other in the inventory. When you complete 5, it becomes a Lost Map with the same +N.
- 3Drop it on the ground
Outside a safe zone and outside an event map. A portal is born where the item landed.
- 4Get in within 1 minute
The portal lasts 60 seconds and takes you and your party. After 5 entries it closes.
The level of the Symbol of Kundun that drops depends on the level of the monster you killed, and in practice that is what limits which Kalima you have access to. There is no level requirement on the map itself.
| Kalima | Map | Lost Map | Symbol comes from monsters | Monsters on that level | Boss |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kalima 1 | 24 | +1 | level 25 to 46 | level 17 to 40 | Illusion of Kundun 1, level 52 |
| Kalima 2 | 25 | +2 | level 47 to 65 | level 32 to 53 | Illusion of Kundun 2, level 65 |
| Kalima 3 | 26 | +3 | level 66 to 77 | level 46 to 69 | Illusion of Kundun 3, level 81 |
| Kalima 4 | 27 | +4 | level 78 to 84 | level 62 to 88 | Illusion of Kundun 4, level 100 |
| Kalima 5 | 28 | +5 | level 85 to 91 | level 79 to 105 | Illusion of Kundun 5, level 117 |
| Kalima 6 | 29 | +6 | level 92 to 107 | level 95 to 119 | Illusion of Kundun 6, level 140 |
| Kalima 7 | 36 | +7 | level 108 or higher | level 111 to 135 | Illusion of Kundun 7, level 140 |
Who lives inside
The same eight species on all seven levels, in the same counts and in the same places. Only the numbers grow. The table below is Kalima 1; the layout is identical in the other six, and the count column applies to all of them.
| Monster | Level | Health | Damage | Defense | How many |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aegis 1 | 17 | 440 | 55 to 62 | 17 | 11 |
| Rogue Centurion 1 | 19 | 500 | 60 to 67 | 20 | 10 |
| Blood Soldier 1 | 21 | 600 | 70 to 77 | 25 | 7 |
| Death Angel 1 | 24 | 740 | 80 to 87 | 30 | 9 |
| Necron 1 | 28 | 900 | 95 to 102 | 38 | 8 |
| Death Centurion 1 | 33 | 1,250 | 110 to 117 | 50 | 5 |
| Schriker 1 | 40 | 1,800 | 130 to 137 | 66 | 10 |
| Illusion of Kundun 1 | 52 | 3,000 | 165 to 172 | 90 | 1 |
To compare the two ends: in Kalima 7 the Aegis is level 111 with 82,000 health, the Schriker is level 135 with 170,000, and the damage of the common monsters goes past a thousand per hit. It is the same map and the same layout, with numbers twenty times bigger.
| Species | Kalima 1 | Kalima 4 | Kalima 7 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aegis | lv 17, 440 health | lv 62, 6,000 | lv 111, 82,000 |
| Death Angel | lv 24, 740 | lv 74, 12,000 | lv 121, 110,000 |
| Necron | lv 28, 900 | lv 78, 16,000 | lv 125, 125,000 |
| Schriker | lv 40, 1,800 | lv 88, 30,000 | lv 135, 170,000 |
What drops inside
Kalima has no exclusive drop. The same global groups as any map apply: zen on half the kills, a random item on 30%, medals, Symbol of Kundun and, when the monster is past 76, jewels at 0.1% and excellent at 0.01%.
That changes everything when you pick a level. Up to Kalima 3 no monster reaches level 76, so no jewels and no excellent drop in there. From Kalima 4 up it starts to count, and in Kalima 5 practically the whole map is above the cut.
| Level | Do jewels and excellent drop? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Kalima 1 to 3 | no | the strongest monster is Schriker 3, at level 69 |
| Kalima 4 | partly | Necron 4 (78), Death Centurion 4 (83), Schriker 4 (88) and the boss (100) |
| Kalima 5 to 7 | yes | almost every species is past level 76 |
NPC
All seven levels have an Oracle Layla at (7,19), next to the arrival point. It is the only NPC in Kalima.
Is it worth it?
Kalima is one of the few pieces of content in the game you run by party and by item, not by level. It has no spots marked on the minimap, no shop and no vault: you go in, clear it, kill the boss and leave.
- A closed map that is only yours: whoever is not in your party does not come through your portal.
- From Kalima 5 up, high density of monsters above 76, which is where jewels drop.
- The entrance material drops from any monster in the game, with no dependency on an event or a schedule.
- The cycle feeds itself: farming Kalima produces the Symbol for the next Kalima.
- Five Symbol of the same level per entry, at a 0.3% chance per kill. It is expensive.
- The portal lasts 1 minute and disappears. Missing the timing costs you the whole map.
- Kalima 1 to 3 drop no jewels and no excellent, so they are worth little beyond the boss.
- No spots on the minimap and no useful NPC inside.
