Armor
The classic sets in order of power, with defense piece by piece and who each one belongs to.
Updated on August 10, 2026A classic set is made of five pieces (helm, armor, pants, gloves and boots) that share the same internal number. Wearing all five lights up the set bonus, and from level +10 on the complete set starts to multiply defense. This page lists all of them in order of power, with the defense of each piece taken from the production database.
- 56classic sets
- 574armor pieces
- +15maximum refining
- +10%defense rate with the full set
How the set works
- A complete set at any level gives +10% defense rate against monsters. You do not need to refine anything to get that.
- A complete set from level +10 on multiplies base defense: the formula is defense times (1 plus 0.05 per level above 9). A full +15 set yields 30% more defense than the sum of the pieces on their own.
- The pieces have to be from the same set, not the same level. Mixing +10 with +13 lights up the bonus of the lowest level worn.
- Gloves give attack speed and, from level 5 on, swimming speed. Boots give walking speed.
- A successful refine restores the piece to full durability.
Sets by class
Before the defense tables, the map of who uses what. The defense column is the one for the chest piece, which is always the highest of the set and works for sorting.

The Guardian options of the 380 sets
Every level 380 piece can take a pair of options aimed at PvP. They do not come in the drop: they are applied in the Chaos Machine, with a Jewel of Harmony and a Jewel of Guardian, on a piece that already has an additional option.
| Piece | Always comes with | And also |
|---|---|---|
| Armor | +10 defense rate in PvP | +1 shield recovery anywhere |
| Helm | +10 defense rate in PvP | +20 to the shield recovery multiplier |
| Pants | +10 defense rate in PvP | +100 defense in PvP |
| Gloves | +10 defense rate in PvP | +200 maximum health |
| Boots | +10 defense rate in PvP | +200 maximum shield |
| Weapon | +10 attack rate in PvP | +200 final damage in PvP |
The recipe asks for a Jewel of Harmony and a Jewel of Guardian, costs 10 million zen and succeeds at 50%, 60% or 70% depending on the item level. The Jewel of Harmony comes from refining a Gemstone, which drops at 0.5% in Kanturu Ruins and Kanturu Relics; the Jewel of Guardian drops at 0.1% in the Land of Trials. It is the only recipe in the game where the piece is not destroyed on failure: you lose the jewels and the zen, and the armor comes back.
Ancient, mastery and what comes next
A classic set can drop ancient, and then it stops being just defense: it gains a blue name, an individual stat bonus per piece and a set bonus of its own, which lights up by the number of pieces worn. Above that sit the ten mastery tiers, from Bloodangel to Lightning, which are 70 sets with defense on another scale and a total level requirement.
