Vulcanus
The volcanic island any level 30 character can reach, and where almost none of them survive.
Updated on August 10, 2026Vulcanus is map 63, and it is the biggest trap in the Move window. Its level requirement is 30, the lowest of all the paid maps, and the cost is 15,000 zen, the most expensive in that bracket. Except the monsters that live inside are level 90 to 124, and some of them have half a million health. A level 30 character gets to Vulcanus. He does not leave.

How to get there
| Route | Level | Cost | Arrives at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Move "Vulcanus" | 30 | 15,000 zen | Vulcanus (120,129) |
There is no ground portal to Vulcanus. The island is an isolated stop: you come in by Move and you leave by Move, by scroll or by dying.
Who lives here
Twelve entries on the list, but in practice they are five creatures in two versions each. Each species shows up once in the normal version, from level 90 to 113, and again in the reinforced version, from level 120 to 124, with the same name and far more health. There is no way to tell them apart by name in the game, only by behavior.
| Monster | Level | Health | Damage | Defense | How many |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zombie Fighter | 90 | 20,000 | 300 to 345 | 200 | 25 |
| Resurrected Gladiator | 93 | 23,000 | 320 to 360 | 220 | 20 |
| Ash Slaughterer | 100 | 27,000 | 335 to 370 | 270 | 30 |
| Blood Assassin | 107 | 37,000 | 550 to 600 | 475 | 20 |
| Cruel Blood Assassin | 109 | 40,000 | 570 to 620 | 490 | 10 |
| Burning Lava Giant | 111 | 50,000 | 600 to 650 | 520 | 20 |
| Ruthless Lava Giant | 113 | 55,000 | 630 to 680 | 535 | 10 |
| Resurrected Gladiator (reinforced) | 121 | 513,000 | 860 to 960 | 230 | 12 |
| Ash Slaughterer (reinforced) | 122 | 520,000 | 870 to 970 | 280 | 12 |
| Cruel Blood Assassin (reinforced) | 123 | 523,000 | 880 to 980 | 500 | 12 |
| Ruthless Lava Giant (reinforced) | 124 | 530,000 | 890 to 990 | 545 | 12 |
| Zombie Fighter (reinforced) | 120 | 5,000,000 | 850 to 950 | 210 | 5 |
The defense on the reinforced ones is the detail that changes the strategy: the level 121 Resurrected Gladiator has 230 defense, less than the level 93 version of the Ash Slaughterer. They are built to have a lot of health and hit hard, not to be hard to hit.
What drops here
No exclusive drop. The global groups apply, and every monster in Vulcanus is past level 76, so jewel at 0.1% and excellent at 0.01% drop across the whole map. Zen on half the kills and a random item on 30%.
- Gold Medal at 0.2% comes from the seven monsters of level 90 to 113, which are inside the up to 110 range or just above it; the reinforced ones are past 110 and give no medal.
- Symbol of Kundun +6 (monster 92 to 107) and +7 (108 or more) cover the entire map.
- Old Scroll and Illusion Sorcerer Covenant of high level, materials for the Illusion Temple ticket.
- Nothing beyond that: the volcano has no item of its own and no recipe tied to it.
NPC and the Duel Arena
The only NPC on the map is Gatekeeper Titus, at (122,135), right next to the arrival point. He does not sell anything: his job is to let you watch duels. He is how you get into the Duel Arena stands, the map where official duels take place.
That explains the level 30 requirement on the Move: 30 is exactly the minimum level to duel. Vulcanus is the waiting room of the duel system, and the level 300 hunting ground was layered on top of that later.
Is it worth it?
It is worth it from level 300 on, and for two specific things. Vulcanus has 32 regular spots and 4 hot spots marked on the minimap.
- Best Gold Medal map in the high bracket: seven species inside the range and no low level competition in the way.
- The reinforced ones have low defense for their size, so raw damage pays off well here.
- Entrance to the Duel Arena stands, through Gatekeeper Titus.
- Isolated map: rarely contested.
- 15,000 zen per trip, and there is no free portal.
- The level 30 requirement is misleading and drags unprepared characters to their death.
- No vault, no shop, no blacksmith.
- The reinforced ones go past half a million health without giving experience proportional to the time.
