Chaos Castle
Seventy players, ten minutes, one winner. And the arena floor keeps disappearing while you fight.
Updated on August 10, 2026Chaos Castle is the only event on the server where you fight other players for a reward. Up to 70 people enter the same arena, the map is filled with monsters until there are 100 targets in total, and the last one alive takes the prize. It is also the event that pays the most good items per hour, and the only one that opens every hour.
- 7levels
- 70players per room
- 10 minof match
- 1 hbetween rounds
The entrance stays open for 5 minutes before each match, which is a lot more room than the other events give. The match itself lasts 10 minutes and the exit, 1.
Level, character level and fee
Each level has its own level range and charges zen at the door, on top of the ticket. As always, Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord and Rage Fighter get in on an earlier range.
| Level | Level for normal classes | Level for MG, DL and RF | Zen fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaos Castle 1 | 15 to 49 | 15 to 29 | 25,000 |
| Chaos Castle 2 | 50 to 119 | 30 to 99 | 80,000 |
| Chaos Castle 3 | 120 to 179 | 100 to 159 | 150,000 |
| Chaos Castle 4 | 180 to 239 | 160 to 219 | 250,000 |
| Chaos Castle 5 | 240 to 299 | 220 to 279 | 400,000 |
| Chaos Castle 6 | 300 to 400 | 280 to 400 | 650,000 |
| Chaos Castle 7 | exactly 400 | exactly 400 | 1,000,000 |
The ticket is the Armor of Guardsman, and here it has no level: the same item works for any of the seven. It is sold by several town NPCs, among them Potion Girl, Elf Lala, Izabel, Lumen and Caren.
How the match works
The map starts as a safe zone and the event turns the safety off when the match begins. From there three things happen at the same time.
- You score by killing anything: 2 points per monster and 1 point per player.
- A dead monster explodes 50% of the time, pushing anyone within a radius of 3 tiles. That is how people fall off the edge without having been attacked.
- The arena shrinks in three stages, triggered when fewer than 40, then 30, then 20 targets are left alive. The floor that disappears is really blocked, it is not just artwork.
The winner is the last one alive. If time runs out with more than one standing, the one with the most kills wins.
The reward
Only the living winner gets paid, and that is where the event pays for itself. There are two separate things.
- 90% chance of a jewel, drawn among Chaos, Bless, Soul, Creation and Life.
- An ancient item, from Chaos Castle 2 up, with a chance of 10% per level: 10% at CC2, 30% at CC4, 70% at CC7.
During the match the monsters also drop a fixed number of jewels, handed out by the server at the start of the round. Nothing else drops in there: whatever is not in this table does not exist in Chaos Castle.
| Level | Jewel of Bless in the room | Jewel of Soul in the room |
|---|---|---|
| Chaos Castle 1 | 0 | 2 |
| Chaos Castle 2 | 1 | 1 |
| Chaos Castle 3 | 1 | 2 |
| Chaos Castle 4 | 1 | 2 |
| Chaos Castle 5 | 2 | 1 |
| Chaos Castle 6 | 2 | 2 |
| Chaos Castle 7 | 2 | 3 |
Since the jewels are spread among the monsters, killing monsters pays more than hunting players for most of the match. Hunting people only pays off near the end, when the arena has already shrunk and few targets are left.
