Route from level 1 to 400
Where to stay at each level range, when to switch maps and what the entry requirement of each one is.
Updated on August 10, 2026The rule that holds from start to finish is simple: you earn more killing monsters close to your own level. Staying on a map that is too easy slows you down, and going to a map where the monster is 40 levels above you gets you killed in two hits. This page crosses the real level of each monster with the map where it spawns and with the entry requirement of each portal, so you never have to guess where to go.
Two things change the classic route on Zaikan. First: Season 6 monsters stop at level 148 (Dark Iron Knight, in Raklion), so the second half of the journey happens on the same top maps and in the events. Second: the maps brought over from Season 20 have monsters from level 170 to 300, but almost all of them ask for total level, not normal level, which is why they come after 400.
- 400max level

The route, range by range
Each step below tells you the map, the level of the monsters that live there and what you need to get in. The coordinates and the requirements come from the server's portal table and warp table.
- 1 to 15The field around your city
Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord start in Lorencia (Spider level 2, Budge Dragon level 4, Bull Fighter level 6, Hound level 9). Fairy Elf starts in Noria (Goblin level 3, Chain Scorpion level 5, Beetle Monster level 10). Summoner and Rage Fighter start in Elvenland (Strange Rabbit level 4, Polluted Butterfly level 13). Do not change maps here, just walk further away from the city.
- 15 to 30Deep Lorencia, Noria and Elvenland, and the first Dungeon entrance
Still in the field, but the high part of it: Giant level 17 and Skeleton Warrior level 19 in Lorencia, Agon level 16 and Stone Golem level 18 in Noria, Hideous Rabbit level 19 in Elvenland. The portal to the Dungeon is in Lorencia (121, 232) and asks for level 20. The portal to Devias is in Lorencia (5, 38) and asks for level 15.
- 30 to 50Devias and Dungeon
Devias goes from Worm level 20 to Elite Yeti level 36, with Ice Queen level 52 at the back. The Dungeon covers Skeleton Warrior 19 up to Gorgon 55, with Larva 25, Cyclops 28 and Ghost 32 in between. The warps cost zen and ask for level: Devias 20, Dungeon 30, Dungeon2 40, Dungeon3 50.
- 50 to 70Lost Tower
The seven floors of Lost Tower go from Shadow level 47 to Balrog level 66. The warp to floors 1 to 3 asks for level 50, floors 4 and 5 ask for 60 and floors 6 and 7 ask for 70. Entrance through Devias (2, 248), which asks for level 40.
- 70 to 90Atlans and the start of Tarkan
Atlans goes from Bahamut 43 to Hydra 74, with Silver Valkyrie 68 and Lizard King 70 in the deep part. The warps ask for 70, 80 and 90 depending on the area. The Atlans portal (14, 225) leads to Tarkan and asks for level 130, but the direct warp to Tarkan asks for 140. Until you get there, deep Atlans and Land of Trials (Axe Warrior 75, Poison Golem 84) hold the range well.
- 90 to 130Tarkan, Aida and Icarus
Tarkan goes from Mutant 72 to Death Beam Knight 93, and it is where jewels and excellent items really start dropping. Aida (warp level 150, portal through Noria from level 130) goes from Death Tree 72 to Bloody Witch Queen 120. Icarus goes from Alquamos 75 to Dark Phoenix 108, and asks for a wing: warp level 170, portal through Lost Tower level 160.
- 130 to 180Kanturu, Karutan and Vulcanus
Kanturu Ruins (warp 160) goes from Splinter Wolf 80 to Genocider Warrior 129. Karutan 1 and 2 (warp 170) sit between 99 and 120. Vulcanus goes from Zombie Fighter 90 to Ruthless Lava Giant 124. The Kanturu Relics (warp 230, internal portal level 220) have Twin Tale 117, Persona 118 and Dreadfear 119.
- 180 to 260Crywolf, Barracks, Refuge and the top of Season 6
Crywolf has Werewolf 118, Balram 132 and Soram 134. Barracks of Balgass and Balgass Refuge sit between 117 and 128 and are mandatory for the third class quest. Swamp of Calmness goes from Sapi-Unus 95 to Shadow Master 137 and is the hardest map in classic Season 6: the warp asks for level 400 and the internal portal asks for 250.
- 260 to 400Raklion and the Acheron region
Raklion (warp 280, portal through Devias level 240) goes from Ice Walker 102 to Dark Iron Knight 148, the highest level monster in Season 6. From here on the strongest targets are in the region brought over from Season 20: Acheron 88 to 113, Debenter 105 to 119, Urk Mountain 115 to 119 and Nars 116 to 120, all with internal portals that ask for level 300. Ferea goes from Ferea Knight 121 to Lord of Ferea 190.
Entry requirement of each map
There are two ways to reach a map: the portal, which is the passage on the ground from one map to another, and the warp, which is the travel window (key M) and charges zen. Each has its own level requirement, and they are not always the same. The table below shows both sides.

The traps along the route
Three things slow down almost everyone, and none of them is a lack of damage.
- Icarus without a wing is impossible. The map requires the flight item, and without it the portal refuses to let you through. If you reached level 160 with no wing, solve the wing before solving the map.
- Tarkan asks for level 130 at the portal and 140 at the warp. If the warp refuses and the portal accepts, that is it, not a bug. Go through the Atlans portal.
- Swamp of Calmness asks for level 400 at the warp. The only way in before that is through the internal portals, which ask for 250, and to reach them you already need to be inside the map. In practice the swamp is level 400 content.
How to pick the exact spot inside the map
Each classic map was split into around thirty spots of five monsters, marked on the minimap. Hovering the mouse over a marker shows the species, the level, the health, the damage and what it drops. Clicking the marker sends your character walking there and turns on the automatic assistant when it arrives. From Lost Tower up there are also hot spots, with seven monsters and a golden halo, always with the highest level species in the region.
