Farming spots
The 636 hunting points marked on the minimap of 19 maps, the click that walks your character there and the monster card on hover.
Updated on August 10, 2026On a Mu Online server, knowing where to farm is veteran knowledge: the map is big, the monsters spawn scattered and nobody explains anything. In Zaikan that became part of the game. The classic maps were reorganized into spots, small clusters of monsters of the same species, and each spot shows up as a diamond on the minimap.
You open the map, hover over a diamond to read the full card of the creature and click to send your character walking there. When you arrive, the MU Helper turns itself on.
- 636spots in total
- 50hot spots
- 19maps with spots
- 5monsters per spot
Regular spot and hot spot
There are two cluster sizes. The regular one covers the whole map; the hot spot is the concentration of the strongest species on that map, and it comes marked with a golden halo so you can find it from far away.
- 5 monsters per point.
- A box of 9 by 9 tiles, a radius of 4 around the marker.
- Present on all 19 maps in the system.
- Diamond marker, with a color per species.
- 7 monsters per point.
- A box of 11 by 11 tiles, radius 5.
- Only from Lost Tower up. Lorencia, Dungeon, Devias, Noria and Valley of Loren have none.
- Marker with a golden halo, and the species is the highest level one on the map.
How many spots each map has
The distribution was made respecting walkable tiles and areas outside the safe zone, with distance between points so you do not end up pulling two spots at once. The original species and regions of each map were preserved: the Elite Yeti is still where the Elite Yeti has always been.

What the marker does
The marker shows on both minimaps: the big overlay on the TAB key and the round disc in the upper left corner of the screen. Both have the same functions.
- 1Hover the mouse
Opens a card with name, level, health, damage, defense, drop summary and the number of monsters in that spot.
- 2Look at the portrait
The card shows the monster in 3D, rendered live, rotating. It is not a prepared image: it is the creature's model.
- 3Click
Your character calculates the full route at the moment of the click and walks there, going around walls, to the spot.
- 4You arrive
The MU Helper turns itself on and starts hunting. You do not need to do anything else.
The maps that are only marked
The Season 20 maps (Acheron, Debenter, Urk Mountain, Nars, Ferea, Nixie's Lake and the five Deep Dungeons) get a marker on the minimap, but they did not go through the spawn reorganization. You see the points and you can click to walk to them, but the card does not show a monster count, because the amount there was not set by the spot system.
How to use this day to day
- Open TAB as soon as you arrive on a new map and look at the diamonds: the colors separate the species.
- Hover before you click. The monster level on the card tells you whether you can take it.
- Prefer the hot spot once your damage kills fast: seven monsters per point pay more than five.
- To walk with the map open, click outside the minimap window. A click inside is a spot command.
- On the HUD disc it works the same, with no need to open TAB.
