Arena and Duel Arena
The two maps for fighting another player: the free-for-all Arena, with a soccer field, and the official Duel Arena, with a scoreboard and stands.
Updated on August 10, 2026The server has two maps dedicated to player against player, and they work in completely different ways. The Arena (map 6) is an open space you enter through the Move window, where you fight whoever is there. The Duel Arena (map 64) is a closed system: you challenge someone, both of you pay, and the server sets up the room with a scoreboard.
- Entered through the Move window, at any time.
- 2,000 zen and level 50.
- No scoreboard, no rules and no referee.
- Has a soccer field drawn on the map.
- Any number of people at the same time.
- Entered by challenging another player, not through the Move.
- 30,000 zen from each side and level 30.
- Automatic scoreboard, up to 10 points.
- Four rooms running at the same time.
- Two duelists per room, plus the spectators.
Arena
The Arena is map 6, reached only through the Move window: 2,000 zen and level 50, arriving at (101,115). There is no ground portal to it and no requirement beyond the level.
There are no monsters in the Arena. There are three NPCs, all in the same strip of the map: Baz The Vault Keeper at (58,140), who opens the vault, the Arena Guard at (67,140) and the soccer ball at (62,160).
The soccer field
The Arena has a soccer type battle zone registered on the server, with a field, two goals and two team spawn points. It is a piece inherited from the original MU that almost nobody knows about, and it is configured here.
| Element | Coordinates |
|---|---|
| Field | from (55,141) to (69,180) |
| Left goal | from (61,139) to (63,140) |
| Right goal | from (61,181) to (63,182) |
| Left team spawn | 60,156 |
| Right team spawn | 60,164 |
| Ball | 62,160 |
Duel Arena
The Duel Arena is map 64, and it does not appear in the Move window and has no portal. You get there through the duel system: you challenge another player, they accept, and the server teleports both of you into one of the four rooms.
- 1Challenge
Both need at least level 30 and 30,000 zen in hand.
- 2Accept
If the challenged player refuses, nobody is charged.
- 3Pay
The moment the duel starts, the 30,000 comes out of both sides.
- 4Duel
The server counts the points. The first to reach 10 wins.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum level for both duelists | 30 |
| Fee charged to each side | 30,000 zen |
| Score to win | 10 points |
| Rooms running at the same time | 4 |
Watching a duel
Each of the four rooms has room for spectators, and the door to the stands is a specific NPC: Gatekeeper Titus, in Vulcanus (122,135). That is why the Vulcanus Move asks for only level 30, which is exactly the minimum level for a duel: the volcano is the waiting room of the system.
By talking to Titus you pick which of the four rooms you want to watch and you are taken to its stands. Leaving the map ends your spectator status. Whoever dies in the Duel Arena respawns in Lorencia.
Is it worth it?
It depends on what you call PvP. If the idea is to settle a difference with someone without turning into a murderer and without losing items, the Duel Arena is the right place, and the 10 point score avoids any argument about who won. If the idea is to practice positioning and test a build against a friend without paying 30,000 per round, the Arena is cheaper and keeps no count at all.
- Arena: cheap, open, no scoreboard. Good for practice and for gathering people.
- Duel Arena: expensive, formal, with a scoreboard and an audience. Good for settling scores.
- Neither map has monsters, drops or experience.
- Outside those two, PvP is allowed on any tile that is not a safe zone, on every map in the game.
