Muun
The Season 20 lunar pet adapted here: its own inventory, three equip spaces, always active bonuses and what already works for real.
Updated on August 10, 2026Muun is a companion system separate from the normal pet. It does not take the pet slot, it does not compete with the mount and it does not show up in the common inventory: it lives in a window of its own, with its own equip spaces. The idea is that you gather several and pick the combination that suits what you are doing.
- 3equip spaces
- 16storage cells
- 1playable muun today
- 6muuns already created on the server
Its own inventory
The Muun window is opened by the game itself, without having to talk to any NPC. It has two areas.
| Area | Spaces | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Equip | 3 | each space takes one muun; its bonus counts right away |
| Storage | 16, in two rows of eight | where the muuns you have but are not using sit |
- Only a Muun item goes into that window. A common item is refused.
- A muun is bound to the character: it does not go out to the normal inventory, it does not drop on the ground, it is not sold and it is not traded.
- The bonus is applied as soon as the muun enters an equip space, and removed when it leaves. It never stacks twice.
- A muun with zeroed durability applies no bonus.
The Kaolin
The Kaolin is the only muun working end to end today: it is handed out by a quest, it enters the window, it equips and the bonus shows up on the stat screen.
| Bonus | Value | How it shows up |
|---|---|---|
| Experience | +30% | it adds to the experience rate per monster killed |
| Maximum health | +50 | straight into the health bar |
| Attack damage | +10% | it multiplies the final damage of every type of damage: physical, magic and curse |
The Werewolf quest
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| NPC | Lugard |
| Mission name | The Werewolves' Bane |
| Minimum level | 20 |
| Objective | kill 20 Werewolves |
| Reward | 1 Kaolin |
It is a low level quest, and that is on purpose: the Kaolin was designed as the entry muun, something that follows the character from early on. Its stats do not come from the original source, they were a server choice, because the Kaolin does not exist in the Season 20 data package that served as the base.
The six muuns already created
Besides the Kaolin, six muuns were created on the server with defined bonuses. They exist as items, but read the warning right below the table before you go looking for them.
| Muun | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Panda | +20 base damage, +50 maximum health |
| Pinocchio | +40 base damage |
| Papa Bear | +60 base defense, +150 maximum health |
| Blue Fairy | +30 critical damage |
| Tiger | +30 excellent damage |
| Reporter | +10% experience |
Where the system stands
- DoneThe foundation
Its own persisted inventory, three equip spaces, item routing between equip and storage.
- DoneEquipping gives a bonus
Validated in game with the Kaolin: correct tooltip, health, damage and experience going up.
- PartialRoster and quest
The six muuns exist, the Kaolin quest works, but the filter only recognizes the Kaolin.
- Not startedEggs and evolution
The part of the original system where a muun evolves into a higher form.
- The three dimensional model of the muuns is still a placeholder: they show up in the inventory with borrowed art.
- There is no muun that walks with you in the world. For now the effect is only numerical.
- There is no class or level requirement on any muun.
