Devias

Devias is the second town in the game and the busiest after Lorencia, because this is where the two events everybody runs start: Blood Castle and Chaos Castle. The snow field around it holds monsters from level 20 to 52, and the Elite Yeti, with 60 of them, is the most numerous monster on any classic map.

How to get there

Monsters

Only six species, and it is the most uneven map in the range: four of them sit between level 20 and 26, then it jumps to the Elite Yeti at 36 and ends with the Ice Queen at 52. There is nothing between 26 and 36 here.

What drops here

Devias is the first map in the game where the Silver Medal drops, because every monster here is level 20 or higher. The Gold Medal shows up too, but only from the Ice Queen, the one species at level 45 or above.

Is it worth it?

It is worth it from level 20 to 45, with one detail: the Devias field is weaker than the Dungeon in the same range. If you can handle the Dungeon, it pays more, because it has twelve species in a continuous ladder and the monsters come packed into corridors. Devias makes up for it elsewhere: it is the town of the two events that give jewels and refining, and the Elite Yeti has a density no other classic monster has.
